El paso Campolongo conecta en Italia el Valle Badia con el valle del Cordevole. Además, la frontera entre las regiones italianas de Trentino-Tirol del Sur y Véneto pasa por la cima del paso. El camino del paso se suele recorrer en combinación con el paso Pordoi, el paso Sella y el paso Gardena, que también rodean el macizo de Sella. El paso Campolongo es el más bajo de este cuarteto.
