El túnel de carretera del col de Tende es un túnel situado bajo el col de Tende en la frontera entre Italia y Francia. Construido entre 1878 y 1882 en Italia, se convierte en franco-italiano en 1947 con la entrada en vigor del tratado de París.
El col de Tende se convierte en el principal paso de carretera de los Alpes occidentales entre los puertos mediterráneos de Niza, Villefranche-sur-Mer y Menton con Piamonte tras la adquisición del condado de Tende por el duque de Saboya en 1581, hasta que el rey de Cerdeña se apodere de la república de Génova y su puerto, en enero de 1815.
