La tumba de Cecilia Metela es un mausoleo ubicado en las afueras de Roma en la Vía Apia. El mausoleo fue construido en la segunda mitad del siglo I a. C. para honrar a Cecilia Metela, hija de Quinto Cecilio Metelo Crético, cónsul en el 69, y esposa de Marco Licinio Craso, que sirvió bajo Julio César y era hijo del famoso triunviro, con su mismo nombre, Marco Licinio Craso.[1] El mausoleo probablemente fuese construido entre el 30-10 a. C. por su hijo, también con el mismo nombre, que su padre y abuelo, Marco Licinio Craso.[2][3][4]
