Esta iglesia se encuentra un poco fuera del núcleo del casco antiguo, en el camino a la Pota San Jacopo.
Fundada en 1337, la iglesia ha sufrido reformas, especialmente en el interior de una sola nave, en diferentes épocas e incluso a principios del siglo XX.
En el altar mayor hay una hermosa pintura sobre tabla de Vincenzo Tamagni, firmada y fechada en 1522, que representa a la Virgen con el Niño, San Juan Gualberto, San Juan Bautista, San Benito y San Jerónimo.
Es valioso el monumento funerario con el busto de sor Fidamonte Malenotti, fallecida en 1932.
En el siglo XVIII, cuando la iglesia de San Jacopo al Tempio al otro lado de la calle pasó a formar parte del patrimonio del monasterio, se construyó un viaducto de mampostería para que las monjas pudieran cruzar la calle sin ser vistas por nadie.
