El RMS Caronia fue un transatlántico de la Cunard Line . Fue botado el 30 de octubre de 1947, y sirvió para Cunard hasta 1967. Era conocido popularmente en Liverpool como "Green Goddess", debido a que su librea se parecía a la de los tranvías locales, también conocidos como "Green Goddess".[1]
Después de su salida de Cunard, sirvió para la Universal Cruise Line tan solo de 1968 a 1969, y fue renombrado como SS Caribia. Desde 1969 hasta 1974 estuvo en Nueva York sin realizar ningún servicio, hasta que ese año fue vendido para ser desmantelado. Mientras era remolcado a Taiwán para su desguace, fue atrapado en una tormenta el 12 de agosto. Naufragó en el puerto de Apra, Guam; y los cabos de los remolques fueron cortados, dejándolo hundir.
