El Wapen de Lienden tiene una historia particularmente rica.
El edificio monumental, con sus característicos plátanos, ha sido un referente en Lienden y sus alrededores durante más de un siglo y medio. En el siglo XIX, el edificio era propiedad de la familia Stam, en honor a quien se han nombrado las salas. Desde hotel hasta escuela infantil, desde lugar de bodas hasta consulta dental: el edificio ha sido utilizado a lo largo de los años para diversos fines. ¡Y ahora, ya hace veinte años como café-restaurante, sigue siendo un elemento definitorio del núcleo del pueblo!
