Twickel es una propiedad histórica protegida por el estado con 81 componentes complejos cerca de Delden en el barrio Deldeneresch, en el municipio de Hof van Twente en la provincia de Overijssel. El castillo amurallado forma el centro.
La primera mención de Twickel es en 1347, cuando Herman van Twickelo compra la casa Eysinck cerca de Delden. Esta casa se convertirá en el posterior castillo Twickel. A lo largo del tiempo, Twickel fue habitado por miembros de la familia Van Twickelo, Van Raesfelt, Van Wassenaer Obdam y Van Heeckeren van Wassenaer. La última propietaria cedió Twickel a una fundación, que aún gestiona los activos. Hasta su muerte, la baronesa fue presidenta de la junta directiva.
