Twickel è una storica villa protetta dallo stato con 81 complessi vicino a Delden, nel borgo di Deldeneresch, nel comune di Hof van Twente, nella provincia di Overijssel. Il castello circondato da un fossato forma il centro.
La prima menzione di Twickel risale al 1347, quando Herman van Twickelo acquista la casa Eysinck presso Delden. Questa casa diventa il successivo castello di Twickel. Nel corso dei secoli, Twickel è stata abitata da membri della famiglia Van Twickelo, Van Raesfelt, Van Wassenaer Obdam e Van Heeckeren van Wassenaer. L'ultima proprietaria ha ceduto Twickel a una fondazione, che attualmente gestisce ancora i beni. Fino alla sua morte, la baronessa era lei stessa presidente del consiglio.
