Brummen es un municipio en la provincia neerlandesa de Gelderland. El municipio cuenta con 20.873 habitantes y tiene una superficie de 85,05 km². La localidad principal es Brummen, y el lugar más grande en cuanto a número de habitantes es Eerbeek. El pueblo de Brummen está situado entre Zutphen y Dieren, a poca distancia del río IJssel. A través del IJssel navega un ferry de coches hacia la localidad de Bronkhorst. El área rural del municipio de Brummen se extiende más allá del Canal de Apeldoorn, donde en el borde este de la Veluwe se encuentra Eerbeek, el lugar más grande del municipio. En verano, hay mucha recreación en esta zona boscosa. El carácter del municipio de Brummen se describe como parcialmente veluviano, parcialmente achterhoekese.
