Eerbeek es el núcleo más grande del municipio de Brummen, en los Países Bajos. La población es de 9.845 habitantes. Antiguamente, Brummen era el núcleo más grande. Ya en 1046 se menciona Eerbeek, aunque entonces se conocía como Erbeke. Este era originalmente el nombre del arroyo que ahora se llama Eerbeekse Beek. El significado no está del todo claro. Probablemente, "er" proviene de "erd", que significa algo así como tierra, arcilla, limo o terreno de construcción. "Beke" es la misma palabra que el moderno arroyo. Más tarde, el nombre del arroyo se convirtió en el nombre del pueblo. Alrededor de 1663, el nombre del pueblo aparece en el mapa como Eertbeeck, y el arroyo se llama el arroyo Eertbeeckse.
