Beuningen) es un pequeño pueblo en el municipio de Losser en la provincia neerlandesa de Overijssel. En 2021, el pueblo tenía 970 habitantes. Se encuentra a orillas del río Dinkel, en una zona predominantemente agrícola, aproximadamente a una milla y media al sur de Denekamp. Beuningen es conocido desde 1100 como Boninge. A partir de 1148 aparecen las variantes Boninghen, Boninchen, Boningem y Boninghem. -Chen, hem o him significa casa; el nombre significa entonces casa de o descendientes de Bono. Probablemente el Baniningi, que aparece alrededor de 900, es la forma más antigua de Boninge.
