Baronía de Breda
La Baronía de Breda es rica en bosques. Entre los árboles también hay campos de brezo, charcas, viejas canteras de arcilla, pantanos de turba, arroyos y praderas. Pero el entorno de Breda no siempre fue tan boscoso. Los bosques primigenios que una vez estuvieron aquí cedieron ante el ganado y el ser humano. Desde principios del siglo XVI, los Señores de Breda hicieron construir el Mastbos, Liesbos y el Bosque de Ulvenhout. Ahora Breda está rodeada nuevamente por pulmones verdes en todas direcciones, áreas forestales donde reinan la calma y el silencio, el aire fresco y el canto de los pájaros.
