Baronia di Breda
La Baronia di Breda è ricca di boschi. Tra gli alberi ci sono anche brughiere, piccoli stagni, vecchie cave d'argilla, torbiere, ruscelli e praterie. Ma l'area intorno a Breda non è sempre stata così boschiva. Le foreste primordiali che un tempo si trovavano qui hanno ceduto il passo al bestiame al pascolo e all'uomo. Dall'inizio del sedicesimo secolo i Signori di Breda fecero piantare il Mastbos, il Liesbos e la Foresta di Ulvenhout. Oggi Breda è nuovamente circondata da polmoni verdi, aree boschive dove regnano tranquillità e silenzio, aria fresca e canti di uccelli.
