La Vischpoort, construida a finales del siglo XIV, es la única puerta de la ciudad que queda en la ribera en Harderwijk.
A través de esta puerta se transportaba pescado de ida y vuelta de los barcos. Los grandes barcos que transportaban el pescado no podían llegar a la costa debido a la poca profundidad. Por lo tanto, el pescado se transfería a barcos más pequeños. Estos botes navegaban de un lado a otro todo el día.
