Vischporten, bygget i slutningen af det 14. århundrede, er den eneste tilbageværende byport ved vandkanten i Harderwijk.
Gennem denne port blev fisken transporteret til og fra bådene. De store både, der transporterede fisken, kunne ikke komme ind til kysten på grund af lavvande. Fisken blev derfor overført til mindre både. Disse bådte sejlede således hele dagen frem og tilbage.
