Das Vischpoort, Ende des 14. Jahrhunderts gebaut, ist das einzige erhaltene Stadttor am Wasserrand in Harderwijk.
Durch dieses Tor wurde Fisch von und zu den Booten gebracht. Die großen Boote, die den Fisch transportierten, konnten wegen der Untiefen nicht bis zur Küste kommen. Der Fisch wurde daher auf kleinere Boote umgeladen. Diese Boote fuhren also den ganzen Tag hin und her.
