El Laberinto en Texel es un pequeño bosque en la ladera sureste de la Alta Montaña, al oeste de Oudeschild. Aunque es pequeño, destaca por su alta ubicación y determina fuertemente el paisaje circundante.
La historia del bosque comienza en 1764, cuando el comisionado y empleado Cornelis Roepel compró un terreno de 17 are en la Alta Montaña. Desde aquí hay una hermosa vista de la Rada de Texel. Además, hay una pequeña colina en el área. De esta colina circulan historias en Texel de que hay una gran piedra escondida. La piedra se llama la Piedra Inglesa porque supuestamente se extiende completamente bajo el Mar del Norte hasta Inglaterra. La colina se puede escalar por siete escalones: 'los siete panqueques'.
