La Holterberg es una zona montañosa que forma parte del Parque Nacional Sallandse Heuvelrug. La Holterberg debe su nombre a la aldea holandesa de Holten que se encuentra al sur de esta área. Al norte, esta zona limita con Haarlerberg y Noetselerberg. Esta área natural incluye muchos campos de brezo que se alternan con bosques (de coníferas). Solo en la Holterberg y en la Hoge Veluwe se pueden encontrar perdices en los Países Bajos.
