¿Siempre pensaste que los bosques más grandes estaban en Veluwe? Pues no, aquí en Flevopolder, cerca de Zeewolde, Het Horsterwold es el bosque de frondosas más grande de los Países Bajos. Se ha plantado en suelo arcilloso y eso se nota especialmente en días húmedos. ¡Asegúrate de llevar un buen calzado! Y lleva tu cámara, nosotros vimos ciervos en varios lugares. El bosque también limita con el Nuldernauw (el agua entre la polder y De Veluwe). La intención es crear islotes en el agua que funcionen como 'stepping stones' en la conexión ecológica entre Veluwe y Oostvaarders Plassen.
