Groeningen es una aldea que pertenece al municipio de Land van Cuijk, en la provincia neerlandesa de Brabante del Norte. Se encuentra entre Vierlingsbeek y Vortum-Mullem y cuenta con aproximadamente 130 direcciones residenciales y 380 habitantes. Esta aldea ha sido especialmente importante como lugar de descanso para carruajes de correo y otro tráfico que circulaba por la ruta comercial de Colonia a 's-Hertogenbosch. Más tarde se convirtió en un lugar de descanso para el tráfico entre Venlo y Nimega. Los carruajes de correo en ambas direcciones se encontraban aquí. También se transfería equipaje de un carro a otro.
