Hazerswoude-Rijndijk es una aldea en el municipio neerlandés de Alphen aan den Rijn y se encuentra en la provincia de Holanda Meridional.
Los agricultores del pueblo obtuvieron al construir diques y dragar una materia prima importante: turba. Alrededor del siglo XVI, la extracción de turba provocó que la aldea quedara rodeada de agua. Debido a que las tierras de construcción y pastoreo se habían convertido en turberas, la mayoría de las personas se marcharon.
