Gameren es una aldea en el municipio neerlandés de Zaltbommel en la provincia neerlandesa de Gelderland. La aldea se encuentra cerca de Zaltbommel y a lo largo del Waal. Fue un municipio independiente hasta que se unió a Kerkwijk en 1955. La aldea contaba con 3.000 habitantes el 1 de enero de 2021. Gameren surgió en una loma a lo largo del Waal. En 1031, el lugar se mencionó por primera vez. Se formó una aldea en forma de tira. En el siglo XIV se construyó el dique del Waal. Desde entonces, Gameren también se ha desarrollado hacia el norte en dirección a este dique.
