Gameren è un villaggio nel comune olandese di Zaltbommel nella provincia olandese di Gelderland. Il villaggio si trova vicino a Zaltbommel e lungo il Waal. Era un comune indipendente fino a quando nel 1955 non è stato unito a Kerkwijk. Il villaggio contava 3.000 abitanti al 1° gennaio 2021. Gameren sorse su un altopiano lungo il Waal. Nel 1031 la località è stata menzionata per la prima volta. Si sviluppò un lungo villaggio agricolo. Nel XIV secolo fu costruita la diga del Waal. Da allora, Gameren si è sviluppato anche verso nord in direzione di questa diga.
