Spankeren es una aldea neerlandesa en el municipio de Rheden, en la provincia de Gelderland. Tiene 935 habitantes y se encuentra a orillas del Canal de Apeldoorn, frente al lugar Dieren. Un habitante de esta aldea se llama Spankenees. Aunque Spankeren es un pequeño pueblo, hay dos áreas industriales donde muchas empresas están establecidas. Una de estas áreas industriales está situada en el lugar donde de 1916 a 1975 estuvo la empresa de electrodomésticos Emailleerfabriek De Ysel.
