Nuevo-Buinen es una aldea de colonización de turba en el municipio de Borger-Odoorn, en Drenthe. Nuevo-Buinen tenía 4.865 habitantes el 1 de enero de 2021. Nuevo-Buinen limita con Stadskanaal, que pertenece a la provincia de Groninga. Desde 1838 hasta 1967, estuvieron las fábricas de vidrio de Nieuw-Buinen. Desde 1924 hasta 1935 hubo una estación de tren en la línea de ferrocarril Stadskanaal - Ter Apel frontera estatal.
