En 1381 se menciona por primera vez Vaeshartelt, pero en 870 ya había un castillo en este lugar. La granja es la parte más antigua de la finca. Más tarde se construyó el castillo. En 2011/2012 se establecerán los Jardines de Vaeshartelt. Esto sucederá en la ‘Bloemenheuf’ de la finca Vaeshartelt. Históricamente, este terreno de 6 hectáreas ha pertenecido a la finca. Serán Jardines de Prueba: hermosos para pasear, pero también ricos en experiencias de olor y sabor.
