El Armenmolen es uno de los pocos molinos de agua que quedan en el Ittersebeek en Neeritter. Este molino de rodete estaba en uso como molino de grano.
La mención escrita más antigua de un molino en este lugar data de 1280. También en 1535 se construyó un Armenmolen, pero no está claro si estaba en el mismo lugar que el molino actual. Un documento de la Schepenbank en Neeritter menciona que el molino actual fue construido entre 1684 y 1687. Los hierros de pared indican el año 1686. Este molino fue fundado por el señor del castillo de Borgitter para ser donado a los pobres.
