Dodewaard es una aldea en el municipio de Neder-Betuwe, en la provincia holandesa de Gelderland. La aldea tiene más de 4,465 habitantes. Fue un municipio independiente desde 1811 hasta 2002. Durante un tiempo, el municipio también incluía la aldea de Opheusden, pero más tarde pasó a formar parte del municipio de Kesteren. Es la aldea situada más al este del municipio; las aldeas aún más orientales de Hien y Wely caen formalmente bajo Dodewaard. La aldea misma se encuentra y se extiende al sur de la A15 a lo largo del Waal. La aldea tiene su propia estación de tren, en la línea ferroviaria entre Tiel y Arnhem, llamada Hemmen-Dodewaard, aunque la estación de Opheusden es más accesible en muchos casos.
