Dodewaard ist ein Dorf in der Gemeinde Neder-Betuwe, in der niederländischen Provinz Gelderland. Das Dorf hat mehr als 4.465 Einwohner. Von 1811 bis 2002 war es eine eigenständige Gemeinde. Zu dieser Gemeinde gehörte auch eine Zeit lang das Dorf Opheusden, aber später fiel das unter die Gemeinde Kesteren. Es ist das östlichste Dorf in der Gemeinde, die noch weiter östlich gelegenen Weiler Hien und Wely gehören formal zum Dorf. Das Dorf selbst liegt und erstreckt sich südlich der A15 am Waal. Das Dorf hat einen eigenen Bahnhof, an der Bahnverbindung zwischen Tiel und Arnhem, namens Hemmen-Dodewaard, obwohl der Bahnhof Opheusden in vielen Fällen besser erreichbar ist.
