El Molino Octagonal en Groot-Ammers, en el municipio neerlandés de Molenlanden, destaca por su forma entre los molinos de cangilones que se encuentran en otros lugares a lo largo del agua. El molino fue instalado en 1805 como reemplazo de un molino de cangilones que se incendió a principios de ese año. El Molino Octagonal está equipado con una rueda de palas que es más estrecha que la de los otros molinos en el pólder, lo que permite que el molino muela la menor cantidad de agua. El molino estuvo en funcionamiento hasta 1964. El Molino Octagonal fue restaurado en 1972 y 1991/1992 y bombea de forma voluntaria el Pólder Liesveld. El propietario del molino es SIMAV.
