Westereems, Wester-Eems, en alemán West-Ems, fue el nombre de un departamento francés en los Países Bajos durante el Primer Imperio Francés. Fue nombrado por la desembocadura occidental del río Eems, la Westereems.
El departamento se formó el 1 de enero de 1811 tras la anexión por Francia el 9 de julio de 1810 del reino de Holanda. Fue la unión de los antiguos departamentos "holandeses" de Groningen y Drenthe, a los que se añadió también la parte alemana de Reiderland. Temporalmente, desde el 1 de enero hasta el 27 de abril de 1811, el distrito de Neuenhaus también fue parte del Departamento de Westereems. Neuenhaus fue luego añadido al recién creado departamento de Lippe, que pertenecía a los denominados departamentos de la Hanse del imperio francés.
