Someren-Eind es una aldea de aproximadamente 3500 habitantes que pertenece al municipio de Someren, en la provincia holandesa de Brabante Septentrional. A través de la construcción en línea, está conectada con la aldea de Someren.
La denominación anterior del pueblo, 'Eynde-Schoot', que designaba al predecesor de Someren-Eind, es muy antigua. Schoot puede estar derivado del germánico skauta-, que significaba 'un rincón boscoso de tierras altas que sobresale en terreno pantanoso'. El topónimo 'eind' se encuentra frecuentemente en Brabante Septentrional y significa 'la última granja de'.
En el lenguaje popular, Someren-Eind también se conoce como D'end, refiriéndose a 'ese final'.
