Ahora se encuentra en la mayor área continua de brezal de Noord-Brabant, donde viven el gavilán, el aguilucho y la rana de brezal. En la reserva hay partes secas con arena móvil, campos de arbustos y brezos. En las zonas húmedas encontrará lobo de pantano, esfagno y juncos de pico. El hermoso Kempenweg atraviesa el área de bosque de coníferas, detrás de la cual se encuentran el Starven y Beuven. Allí encontrará agradables curvas cerradas y un camino bien asfaltado hasta la Provincialeweg.
