You are now in the largest contiguous heathland area in North Brabant, which is home to the hawk, curlew and moor frog. In the reserve there are dry areas with drifting sand, shrubs and heaths. In the wet areas you will find swamp dewclaw, sphagnum moss and beaked sedge. The beautiful Kempenweg leads through the coniferous forest area, behind which the Starven and Beuven are located. You get nice short bends and a well-paved road up to the Provincialeweg. To the left is the Somerse Heide with the Keelven and a little further Lange Bleek with the Bultven. Where can you find so much natural beauty in less than 30 kilometers by motorbike.
