La Noorderkerk en el Noordermarkt de Ámsterdam fue construida según un diseño de Hendrick de Keyser. La iglesia es utilizada por la comunidad de la Noorderkerk de la Iglesia Protestante de Ámsterdam, parte de la PKN. La iglesia fue construida entre 1620 y 1623 en la llamada construcción central, la planta de la iglesia forma una cruz griega, en las esquinas se han construido viviendas de servicio triangulares. Según este modelo, entre otros, se han construido la Nieuwe Kerk en Groningen y la Groote Kerk en Maassluis.
