Gennep, camino a la Maas - Los constructores de puentes
Que los puentes son de importancia estratégica en tiempos de guerra no necesita explicación. ¿Pero qué pasa si ya no hay puentes? En febrero y marzo de 1945, los Royal Engineers ingleses construyeron un puente Bailey de más de un kilómetro de largo entre Oeffelt y Gennep. Una gran muestra de técnica que Churchill y Montgomery vinieron a inspeccionar.
