El molino De Havik en Grootschermer fue construido en 1576 para el drenaje del Eilandspolder. En 1861, el molino fue trasladado de Delft cerca de De Rijp a su ubicación actual. Tras la instalación de una bomba de vapor en 1874 en el lugar donde anteriormente se encontraba De Havik, se transformó De Havik en vivienda.
El molino fue restaurado de manera significativa por última vez en 1964. Desde 1978, el molino funciona a veces. El molino es de propiedad privada y no está abierto a visitas.
Desde el molino hay una vista espectacular tanto del Eilandspolder como del Schermer polder.
