La Nueva Bussummerheide es un área natural del Reservado Natural Goois entre Huizen y Naarden. El área entre la Nueva Bussumerweg y la Naarderweg limita con la Heide Limitische. Al este, limita con el área forestal del terreno Ericaterrein. En el pasado, la heide formó con la Heide Limitische y la Vliegheide una banda continua de heide desde Naarder Eng hasta Tafelberg- y Blaricummerheide. La heide se encuentra en una zona de colinas con un complejo de heide que incluye pequeños trozos de arena móvil y un almacenamiento disperso de vegetación leñosa, con bosques de frondosas y coníferas en los bordes. El área está atravesada por senderos para caminar. La ganadería Charolais, mediante el pastoreo, asegura que el área se mantenga abierta.
