El Castillo Cronesteyn era un castillo al sureste de Leiden en Zoeterwoude, en el lado este de la Roomburger Watering cerca de Lammen. El castillo fue construido alrededor de 1300 como una granja fortificada. Hoy en día se encuentra en el parque público de la polder Cronesteyn y solo se puede ver el foso alrededor del terreno interior.
El Castillo Cronesteyn es, al igual que muchos castillos en los Países Bajos, originado de una granja más o menos fortificada. Eso fue alrededor de 1300 y se llamaba entonces Brouck y también Heer Wouterswerf. El nombre posterior Cronesteyn, escrito de diferentes maneras, se encuentra en fuentes escritas desde principios del siglo XVI y se deriva de la familia Van Cronenburg.
