De Krakeling es un área natural en el lado este de Zeist, al norte de la N224 en dirección a Woudenberg. DeKrakeling se encuentra cerca de Kozakkenput, Witte Hull y el Bosque de Zeist. De Krakeling consiste, además de un joven bosque mixto, en gran parte en brezal. En este brezal se encuentran especies de plantas como la juncia serpentina, las luciérnagas de brezo, la fresa silvestre y el brezo ramificado y espinoso. Pero también viven alondras de árbol, azules de brezo y reptiles como los gusanos de avellana y las lagartijas de arena.
