La central Claus es una planta de energía en Maasbracht, cerca de Roermond. Es una de las plantas de gas más grandes de los Países Bajos. La central Claus es la primera planta supercrítica de los Países Bajos. Como resultado de la caída del precio de la electricidad y del gas natural como combustible relativamente caro, esta planta estuvo inactiva durante años, y en 2020 se reinició. La planta se utiliza como un negocio de arranque/parada para absorber las fluctuaciones en la producción y la demanda de electricidad, por ejemplo, ante una reducción en la generación de energía solar o eólica.
