Cañón de la Segunda Guerra Mundial
En septiembre de 1944, durante la operación militar Market Garden de los aliados, fue capturado del enemigo expulsado. Durante las fiestas de liberación, fue colocado por la población en esta plaza. Por el gobierno municipal, se transfirió en propiedad a los residentes de Zandoerle.
