Gasselte es un pueblo en la provincia holandesa de Drenthe. Ubicado en el municipio de Aa en Hunze, se sitúa a unos 16 km al este de Assen. En 2021, tenía una población de 1,770. El pueblo fue mencionado por primera vez en 1302 como "Jacobus de Gesholte". La etimología es incierta. Gasselte es un esdorp en la parte más alta del Hondsrug que se desarrolló durante la Alta Edad Media como un satélite de Borger. Solía consistir en dos asentamientos con su propio es: Lutkenend y Grotenend.
