Groot Hitland o Ver-Hitland es una aldea que forma parte del municipio de Zuidplas en la provincia de Zuid-Holland. El lugar está administrativamente asignado a Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel y se encuentra en el sureste del municipio, concretamente a orillas de la Hollandsche IJssel, enfrente de Ouderkerk aan den IJssel.
