El árbol hueco en Kraantje Lek es un árbol para niños en el restaurante Kraantje Lek en Overveen. En 2007, este olmo fue reemplazado por una copia de bronce debido a la putrefacción.
Frederik Willem van Eeden describió en su Álbum de la Naturaleza de 1867 al árbol como el ‘organismo vivo más antiguo de los Países Bajos’. Este olmo, excepcionalmente grande, milenario y famoso en la amplia región, fue dañado en 1812 por una fuerte tormenta. Desde entonces, el árbol tiene un hueco y se conoció como el árbol de los niños. Se les decía a los niños que nacían en el árbol hueco. En noviembre de 1972, el árbol fue nuevamente golpeado por una fuerte tormenta y, a pesar de varios intentos, no volvió a revivir. La parte restante fue retirada en 2007 debido a un deterioro adicional. El árbol hueco fue fundido en bronce por el escultor Kees Verkade. Desde 2008, esta réplica de bronce a tamaño real se encuentra en el lugar del árbol hueco.
