Entre el Rietveldsepad y el Ravelijnpad se encuentra el IJsvogelpad, que lleva el nombre del proyecto natural IJsvogel de Alphen. Este proyecto es una colaboración de la Fundación Landschapsfonds Alphen aan den Rijn, Avifauna y el municipio. El área se está preparando para la educación y la información a adultos y niños sobre lo que se escucha y se ve en la polder. Este camino incluye, entre otras cosas, una pantalla de observación accesible para personas con discapacidades.
