Between the Rietveldsepad and the Ravelijnpad lies the IJsvogelpad, named after the Alphen nature project IJsvogel. This project is a collaboration between the Alphen aan den Rijn Landscape Fund Foundation, Avifauna, and the municipality. The area is being prepared for education and information for adults and children about what can be heard and seen in the polder. This path also provides access to an observation screen for disabled persons.
