Si viaja en coche o autobús por la Geldersedijk hacia Hattem, pasará por el lugar donde Wijsmuller pintó esta vista de Hattem. La forma característica de la torre de la iglesia de Andrés hoy en día está oculta tras los árboles. Los cimientos de la torre datan de 1225. La actual y notable punta fue colocada en 1611. Sin embargo, verá el molino de grano que Wijsmuller también inmortalizó. La caminata pasa tanto por el molino como por la iglesia en la hermosa plaza restaurada.
