Iași ) es una ciudad con estatus de municipiu de Rumanía. Es una de las ciudades más pobladas e importantes del país. La ciudad fue capital del Principado de Moldavia desde 1564 hasta 1859, de los Principados Unidos de Valaquia y Moldavia entre 1859-1862, y del Reino de Rumanía entre 1916-1918.
