El vuelo 981 de Flydubai se estrelló al hacer la maniobra de aterrizaje en el aeropuerto de Rostov del Don. No hubo sobrevivientes, un total de 62 personas entre pasajeros y tripulantes perdieron la vida.[1][2]
En el momento de llegar a Rostov del Don las condiciones meteorológicas no eran las óptimas y el avión estuvo por más de 2 horas en el aire tratando de aterrizar, según los informes preliminares el avión no se estrelló en el momento de aterrizar, sino cuando se encontraba dando otro giro de espera. El impacto ocurrió a las 03:40 sin dejar supervivientes.
